Article: MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE ISSUES ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS FOR PESTICIDE LAW VIOLATIONS

The Maryland Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:

The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) Pesticide Regulation Section reported the following enforcement activity between Jan. 25 and Oct. 31, 2008.

Annapolis Pest Control, Severna Park - On April 28, MDA received partial payment of a $1,540 civil penalty assessed against Annapolis Pest Control employee John Duda for pesticide misuse and making false or fraudulent records. Additionally, the department temporarily revoked Mr. Duda's MDA-issued Employee Registration Identification card.
