The District of Columbia Sports and Entertainment Commission issued the following news release:

Shoulder pads and roller skates. The RFK Stadium-DC Armory campus is the place to be this Saturday. In the morning, the DC ARMOR will hold the team's first player and dance team tryouts at RFK STADIUM and in the afternoon, the DC ROLLERGIRLS WOMEN'S ROLLER DERBY LEAGUE will hold a special holiday weekend bout at the DC ARMORY.
