ANY OF US WHO HAVE PULLED AN ALL-NIGHTER KNOWS THAT LACK OF SLEEP CAN RESULT in headaches, irritability, confusion, impatience, and slow reaction time. We may have also experienced constipation, dark circles under our eyes, and slurred speech - not a pretty picture. It gets worse. What some of us don't know is that sleep deprivation can cause weight gain, decreased desire for sexual activity, increased anxiety, and a weakened immune system. All-in-all, it's a long list of undesirable effects.
