Article: WIPO: Inventors in Italy Develop Software Catalogue Populating Method

GENEVA, Nov. 27 - Scot Maclellan, Luca Di Litta, Luigi Pichetti and Marco Secchi, all from Roma, Italy, and Antonio Secomandi of Brugherio, Italy, have developed a system for populating a software catalogue.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "method and system for populating a software catalogue in software applications which monitor the presence of software products on a plurality of computers."

The patent has been assigned to International Business Machines Corp., Armonk, N.Y., Compagnie Ibm France, Courbevoie, France.
