Article: Grass pollen allergy vaccine performance persists

For the first time, the positive clinical effects of ALK Abello's grass pollen allergy vaccine [Grazax] have been shown to persist after the cessation of the therapy.

In the GT-08 study, patients adhered to the recommended 3-year treatment with the tablet-based vaccine up until the autumn of 2007, with the follow-up year being the 2008 pollen season; this was the first season in which patients did not receive active treatment with the vaccine.
