ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 15 -- The following federal patents were awarded to inventors in Tennessee.

WIPO: Inventors in Pennsylvania, Tennessee Develop Heater Assembly
GENEVA, Nov. 15 - Joshua C. Liu of Murrsyville, Pa., Ronald E. Boylstein of Pittsburgh, and Jake Niedling of Powell, Tenn., have developed a method for processing molten metal.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention includes "commercially available immersion heaters or heater elements nestled in a graphite support structure inside a sintered ceramic protection tube. "
