ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 24 -- The following federal patents were awarded to inventors in Michigan.

WIPO: Inventors in Jamaica, Michigan Develop Cancer Tretement Composition

GENEVA, Nov. 24 - Lawrence AD Williams of St. Catherine, Jamaica, and H. George Levy of Royal Oak, Mich., have developed a compound for treating cancer.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the present invention aims to provides a "compound for treating cancer including an isolated form of dibenzyl trisulfide provided in an effective amount to act as an agent against human diseases, including various forms of cancer."
