Article: YAHMONITE STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT COMPLETE - CITY HOLDS RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY

Steamboat Springs City Council issued the text of the following newsletter:

Steamboat Springs City Council members, neighborhood residents, and construction staff were invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 14th to celebrate the opening of the reconstructed Yahmonite Street Bridge which spans Soda Creek.

The original bridge was built in 1971 and had outlived its functionality. During a biannual inspection of City bridges, it was declared structurally deficient and a full replacement of the bridge was deemed necessary.
