ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 3 -- Mark T. Devlin of Richmond, Va., and Helen T. Ryan of London, have developed an extreme pressure compound.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Lubricant compositions having improved anticorrosion performance comprising an extreme pressure compound comprising a sulfur-containing compound, an antiwear compound comprising a phosphorous-containing compound, an alkylene amine friction modifying compound, a dispersant compound containing basic nitrogen, and a diluent or base oil as applicable, wherein any of compounds other than the diluent or base oil can be the same or different compounds.
