GENEVA, Dec. 2 - Dale Nelson of Minneapolis, Xiaoping Gu of Plymouth, Minn., and Kent Anderson of Champlin, Minn., have developed a tethering system.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "method and apparatus for providing safe and efficient transcatheter correction of the shape of heart chambers, valves, or other body members.
