Article: Australian Inventors Develop Injection Moulding Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 5 -- Michael Carl Junger, David Sean O'Brien, Allan Joseph Hilling Smith, all from Queensland, Australia, have developed an injection moulding of functional cavities.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A mould assembly and a method of use in injection moulding of a part having a functional cavity therein. The mould assembly has a recess to receive a hollow tubular insert intended to be placed in the mould assembly before the injection of a mouldable material into the cavity and to remain in the part after moulding.
