Article: WIPO: Inventors in Germany Develop Metal Component Production Method

GENEVA, Dec. 6 - Uwe Nestlen and Horst Siefermann, both of Germany, have developed a method for producing a component made of metal.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "method for producing a component made of metal, particularly for a head bearing housing of a shock strut."

The patent has been assigned to Progress-Werk Oberkirch AG, Oberkirch, Germany.

The invention carries International Patent Publication No. WO/2008/141697 on Nov. 27.
