Article: NEW LICENSE PLATE LAW

The city of Scottsdale issued the following news release:

The police need to see your license plate, all of it.

Do you have a license plate frame that shows other motorists your favorite team, slogan, or car dealer? Does it cover the state name or expiration tags? If so, it will be illegal on January 1, 2009. That means that an officer can pull you over and issue you a citation for violation ARS 28-2354.B. In Scottsdale, that can carry a fine of $120.
