Today, Congressman Paul E. Kanjorski (PA-11), the Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises, entered into the congressional record the statement below which explains his vote in favor of the auto rescue bill. H.R. 7321, the Auto Industry Financing and Restructuring Act, passed the House yesterday evening by a vote of 237 to 170.
