Article: U.S., Freanch Inventors Develop Telecommunications Connector Device

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 13 -- M'Hamed Anis Khemakhem of Eden Prairie, Minn., Joseph C. Coffey of Burnsville, Minn., Jeffery Louis Peters of Eagan, Minn., and Herve Fauvelet of Boissise le Roi, France have developed a connector including media converter.

The patent has been assigned to ADC Telecomm. Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A triaxial connector assembly including a media converter that is used to terminate a fiber optic/electrical hybrid cable is disclosed.
