Suffolk University issued the following press release:

The 2007-08 Suffolk University women's soccer team was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America with a Team Academic Award. In their first year as a varsity squad, the women's soccer team posted a team GPA of 3.25.

Under Coach Ernst Cleophat's direction, Suffolk was one of 259 college women's teams to recieve this recognition. "I always tell my players, here at Suffolk University your academics are your first priority, everything else is second. I am very proud of them," Cleophat said.
