The Association of Corporate Counsel issued the following news release:
The ACC community was deeply saddened by the loss of longstanding member and former ACC Board Chair, John H. McGuckin, Jr., who died peacefully in his sleep in San Francisco on December 1, 2008, after a short battle with cancer. He was 62.
John was a leading corporate attorney, having served as Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of UnionBanCal Corporation and Union Bank of California for 24 out of a distinguished 27 years of service.
