The huge inconsistencies from year to year in the Black Enterprise rankings of the best colleges for African Americans produce serious questions as to whether their ranking formula has any validity whatsoever.
Every two years Black Enterprise magazine publishes its list of the "Top 50 Colleges for African Americans." In this year's sixth effort to rate America's colleges and universities, Spelman College in Atlanta was rated the best college for blacks.
