ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 17 -- George John Dawkins and Gordon D. McIntosh, both of Austin, Texas, have developed a method for managing operating system.
The patent has been assigned to International Business Machines Corp., Armonk, N.Y.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for managing operating systems. A request from an operating system is received in the multi-partitioned data processing system to register for access to hardware in the multi-partitioned data processing system.
