Article: EL PASO COUNTY RESIDENTS URGED TO TREECYCLE

EL Paso County issued the following news release:

Seven convenient Treecycle locations throughout El Paso County make it easier than ever to recycle your Christmas tree this season. At each Treecycle site, discarded trees (all lights and decorations must be removed) are ground into mulch which is then given away free to any resident of El Paso County on a self-serve basis while supplies last.

A suggested tax deductible contribution of $5 supports El Pomar Youth Sports Programs throughout El Paso County.

The Treecycle program will operate at six neighborhood locations the first two weekends in January. You can drop off trees Saturday & Sunday, January 3-4 and 10-11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ...
