EL Paso County issued the following news release:

All El Paso County Administrative Offices, Offices of the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder, the El Paso County Department of Human Services and the Department of Health and Environment will be closed Wednesday Dec. 24, Thursday Dec. 25, 2008 and Jan. 1, 2009. The regularly scheduled Thursday meetings of El Paso County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) are canceled on Dec. 25, 2008 and Jan. 1, 2009.

Due to ongoing budget restrictions El Paso County Administrative Offices are closed on Fridays and the Terry R. Harris Judicial Complex is closed the last Friday of each month. Temporary protection orders and officer warrants may be applied ...
