The Connecticut Business and Industry Association issued the following news release:

Although the recession has not hit the real estate market in Connecticut --and especially Fairfield County --as hard as in the rest of the country, there is no doubt that the Wall Street mess is having a detrimental impact on the area. When can we expect improvement, and what will 2009 bring? Top business leaders and industry experts will gather at the third annual Fairfield County Commercial Real Estate & Economic Development Outlook to discuss economic and political trends and how those trends will affect Connecticut businesses, particularly those in Fairfield County.
