One way friends, Family and the public can show their support for military Families is to give commissary gift certificates as gifts, or donate them directly to military charities that assist Families.
During the holidays in particular, gift certificates have been proven to be handy for food basket programs by allowing recipients to purchase the groceries they need and prefer, rather than getting food items they might not be able to use.
