Upon first glance, both Redline Performance's Mike Porter and Alumi Craft's John Cooley share similar characteristics. They strike you as mildmannered introverts, soft of voice and careful in their approach of displaying too much of their obvious expertise.
And, like Cooley, Porter shares a passion for building a service-based business and winning off-road races. The talented driver, who won his first Pro Buggy race in CORR earlier this year (driving an Alumi Craft no less), Porter started his business in Fullerton, California, just over 18 years ago.
