The city of Tualatin issued the following news release:
This program will provide free and convenient recycling of computers, monitors, and televisions in all Oregon counties and cities with a population of 10,000 or more. This program does not include recycling of cell phones,computer peripherals (such as keyboards and mice), and other electronic items. The Department of Environment Quality oversees the program, which state lawmakers made possible through 2007 legislation.
The state-wide program is financed by manufacturers and is offered to households and small organizations with 10 or fewer employees and anyone else delivering seven or less CED's to a collector at any one time.
