Article: ARTS COMMISSION INVITES INPUT ABOUT PUBLIC ART

The city of Roanoke issued the following press release:

The Roanoke Arts Commission, an appointed body of the City of Roanoke, has launched a Web site - www.artinroanoke.org - where citizens can offer input about Roanoke's recently installed exhibit of temporary public art titled "AIR: Art in Roanoke." The Web site also lets users download a map of the exhibit's locations and watch videos of interviews with the artists.

In October, eight sculptures were placed around the city as part of Roanoke's ongoing public art program. As citizens have a chance to view these sculptures, they now have the chance to go online and give their feedback about the exhibit. The following AIR artworks will ...
