WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 - Freshman Rep. William Cassidy, R-La., raised $1,239,188 toward his election campaign last year and spent $1,170,308, OpenSecrets.org reported. Cassidy has $68,879 cash on hand and $56,713 in debt based on his last Federal Election Commission report (Nov. 24).

The Center for Responsive Politics reported that Cassidy's top contributors were:
