The city of Lake Oswego issued the following news release:

The Lake Oswego Public Library invites the entire community to be part of the third annual "Lake Oswego Reads" program, a celebration of Oregon history, culture, art, music, literature and personal experience. Kick off the exciting program tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Library (706 Fourth Street). Enjoy Japanese food and music, and view many beautiful kimonos. Thanks to the Friends of the Lake Oswego Library, 800 complimentary copies of this year's featured book, Stubborn Twig are available; just show your Lake Oswego Library card to get your own copy.
