The University of North Carolina-Greensboro issued the following press release:
Dr. Linda Buettner, a professor in the Department of Recreation, Tourism, and Hospitality Management, has received a $7,500 grant from The Brookdale Foundation Group to help those with early stage memory loss.
The grant supports the creation of the ARROW Club, an innovative program that will provide therapeutic and educational activities 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays at the North Campus of Gateway University Research Park, 5900 Summit Ave. in Browns Summit.
