WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Freshman Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., raised $3,504,122 toward his election campaign last year and spent $3,346,535, OpenSecrets.org reported. McClintock has $157,586 cash on hand and $228,347 in debt based on his last Federal Election Commission report (Nov. 24).

The Center for Responsive Politics reported that McClintock's top contributors were:
