The Virginia Biotechnology Research Park issued the following news release:

The United Network for Organ Sharing launched its expanded National Donor Memorial Web site at www.donormemorial.org on Jan. 5, 2009. This tribute-driven site honors organ and tissue donors in this country, highlights the impact of their gift of life on the lives of so many others and underscores the critical importance of increasing organ donation.

The new National Donor Memorial Web site features:

* A refreshing new design and updated navigation

* A virtual tour, including new photos of the 10,000-square-foot memorial garden

* An updated "Tributes" section, which allows visitors to create customized memorial pages
