WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- Sen. Daniel K. Inouye, D-Hawaii, has introduced a bill (S. 70) to "restore the traditional day of observance of Memorial Day."

The bill was introduced on Jan. 6. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
