In Sandusky County, eight economic development organizations work separately and as a team to bring investments and jobs to the county. According to Michael Jay, economic development director, City of Fremont, "It's a countywide NORED. All of the individuals who, in some fashion, work on economic development projects work together to sell the county, much like NORED does for the whole northwest Ohio region."
The eight organizations are: Bellevue Economic Development Corporation, ClydeScope, the City of Fremont, the Village of Gibsonburg, Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce, Sandusky County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC), Terra State Community College, and WSOS Community Action ...
