The city of Tempe issued the following news release:

With Angels Spring Training on the doorstep in Tempe, here are three upcoming events at the city of Tempe's Diablo Stadium, the spring training home for Major League Baseball's Angels, located at 2200 W. Alameda Drive.

GE Money to beautify Diablo Stadium Jan. 31

Spring will bloom a bit earlier in Tempe this year when more than 30 employees from Tempe company GE Money plant flowers at the entrance to Diablo Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 31. Employees, along with their families and friends, will gather at 8 a.m. to spruce up the front of the stadium with Angels-red geraniums.
