The Rhode Island State Police and Rhode Island Department of Administration/Division of Capital Projects is pleased to announce that construction has begun on the new Rhode Island State Police Headquarters and E-911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Members of the public and media are invited to attend the ceremonial groundbreaking on:

Thursday, January 29, 2009 2:00 p.m. Rhode Island State Police Headquarters (Museum Building) 311 Danielson Pike North Scituate, Rhode Island

Governor Donald L. Carcieri, Colonel Brendan P. Doherty and numerous dignitaries will be participating in the ceremony.
