GUWAHATI, Jan 28 -- The media should religiously adhere to the guidelines issued by the Press Council of India in 2008 while reporting on the issue of HIV/AIDS.

The role expected of media to combat with the dreaded HIV/AIDS was spelled out at an advocacy workshop for the editors and executive editors of print and electronic media organized by the Assam State Aids Control Society (ASACS) on Wednesday here in the capital city.
