The office of Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) today received the National Rural Health Association's (NRHA) Legislative Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership on rural health issues. She was honored during the NHRA's 20th Annual Policy Institute, where she also served as a keynote speaker.

"In order for our rural communities to thrive, residents must have access to quality health care and services," said Lincoln.
