The print world, like much of our economy, is in turmoil. Newspapers and magazines are crumbling. Paper and trucking costs are climbing. The Internet is stealing advertising, readers, jobs and time. Believe it or not, there are times when printers ink costs more than blood. But if print is dead, then what about printing?
According to Mark Sanderson, president and co-owner, with his brother Bruce, of Springfield Printing Corp in North Springfield, "Print isn't dead. We just package it in different formats."
Page counts may be down. Quantity may be down.
