Article: Rep. Poe Introduces Frank Buckles World War I Memorial Act

WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 -- Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas, has introduced the Frank Buckles World War I Memorial Act (H.R. 482), legislation that would "authorize the rededication of the District of Columbia War Memorial as a National and District of Columbia World War I Memorial to honor the sacrifices made by American veterans of World War I."

The bill, introduced on Jan. 13, was co-sponsored by Reps. Vernon J. Ehlers, R-Michigan; Henry E.
