Article: Key Lawmakers Introduce Major Food Safety Bill

Key democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee introduced major food safety legislation (H.R. 759) on January 28 which would overhaul the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Food and Drug Administration Globalization Act proposes a number of new requirements and oversight for the food industry.
