The Wisconsin Department of Transportation issued the following news release:

Reconstruction of East Washington Avenue from Marquette Street to Pinecrest Drive and of WIS 30 from McCormick Avenue to the railroad track east of Fair Oaks Avenue in Madison will begin Feb. 9, 2009.

Crews will start by widening the inbound bridge and roadway median on East Washington Avenue in preparation for moving all traffic to the inbound side and beginning reconstruction of the outbound roadway.

Traffic will be reduced to two lanes in the outbound direction on East Washington Avenue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in the inbound direction on East Washington Avenue. Traffic on WIS 30 will be reduced to ...
