The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority issued the following news release:
Work on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) Reconstruct & Widen Project between Newburg Road and Rockton Road will resume for the final construction season next week. Work in 2009 begins with closure of the new third eastbound lane for advance work to accommodate a traffic shift that will be used to maintain two lanes of traffic in both directions during construction.
Work on the 16-mile corridor, including reconfiguration of the Cherry Valley Interchange at I-90/I-39, is on schedule for completion by the end of 2009 as part of the Illinois Tollway's $6.3 billion Congestion-Relief Program-Open Roads for a ...
