Article: ARNOLD NAMED INTERIM DEAN OF ROWAN'S COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATION

GLASSBORO, N.J., Jan. 29 -- Rowan University issued the following news release:

Lorin Basden Arnold has been named interim dean of Rowan University's College of Communication.

A nationally recognized expert in the field of family communication, Arnold, chair of the college's Communication Studies department, will serve as dean of the college during a period of transition.

She replaces Craig Monroe, who passed away Dec. 31 after a short illness. Monroe led the college for five years. The University will begin a national search for a permanent dean in September, according to Provost Ali Houshmand.
