SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 9 -- The Utah Department of Commerce issued the following news release:

The Utah Real Estate Commission announced today that an Order has been approved against Ronald K. Clarke, of Provo, for falsifying property values and other violations in a mortgage fraud scheme in the Provo River Bottoms development. Among 44 statutory and rule violations, Clarke was cited for inflating property sale values, in some cases over one million dollars per transaction, over the actual sale price on the Wasatch Front Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in order to create false comparable sales for the "Home Owner's Group" whose partners included Bradley Kitchen and David Bolick.
