ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- Holger Hulser of Graz, Austria, and Manfred Krickler of Nestelbach, Austria, have developed a process for determining particle emission in the exhaust fume stream. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,474,953 on Jan. 6.

The patent has been assigned to AVL List GmbH, Graz, Australia. The original application was filed on Oct. 20, 2005.
