WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Rep. Dean Heller, R- Nevada, has introduced the Carson City Vital Community Act of 2009 (H.R. 762), legislation that would "promote conservation and provide for sensible development in Carson City, Nevada."

The bill was introduced on Jan. 28. It was referred to the House Natural Resources Committee.
