MALTA, Ill., Feb. 9 -- Kishwaukee College issued the following news release:
Tim Griffin came to T'ai Chi, the ancient Chinese martial arts exercise, by an extraordinary path: music. "As a musician, I learned different breathing techniques for wind instruments and then carried those through into meditative breathing exercises," he said. "I found my way to T'ai Chi about nine years ago." Griffin now teaches various classes in T'ai Chi for the Kishwaukee College Continuing Education department.
