ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- Arthur L. Cohen of Mountain View, Calif., and John Glissman of Valley Ford, Calif., have developed a method for providing auto on/off system. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,474,757 on Jan. 6. The patent has been assigned to Aerielle Technologies Inc., Mountain View. The original application was filed on Jan. 9, 2004. According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A circuit and method of providing an auto-on and/or auto-off capability for an audio device, of a type having an audio plug which mates with the output jack of an audio source.
