BELLINGHAM, Wash., Jan. 21 -- Western Washington University issued the following news release:
The Department of Liberal Studies at Western Washington University will host a public lecture by David Nirenberg titled "Sibling Rivalries: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam" at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, in Communications Facility Room 110 on the WWU campus.
Nirenberg is a professor of Medieval History and Social Thought at the University of Chicago. He studies Christians, Jews and Muslims in medieval Europe and the Mediterranean along with medieval ideas about communication, exchange and social relations.
