Article: Patents: Kansas Inventors Develop Rotary Cutter Bed Harvester

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- Raymond F. Schmitt, Martin E. Pruitt and Michael L. O'Hallora, all from Hesston, Kan., and Cecil L. Case of Newton, Kan., have developed a crop harvester of the rotary cutter bed type. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. RE40,614 on Jan. 6. The patent has been assigned to AGCO Corp., Duluth, Ga. The original application was filed on Jan. 26, 2004.
